I've been taking Adderall for about 15 yrs now. I never sold or took this unless I was at work or school. Without the medication I'm useless, I've researched and tried every vitamin, herb, tea and caffeine product I could and nothing works. I've been going to the same doctor's office now for about 5 yrs. I've never lost a script or tried to get more in a month than I should, nothing to raise a red flag or cause suspicions. I went to my normal appointment and this is the 1st time I was told I was going to be drug tested as soon as I was called into my room.

I failed, I failed it big time, I know I did (failing for op). I had to continue with the appointment because I needed the medication for working that day. Today I got the call from my Dr's office, it was my Dr that left the voicemail, saying I needed to call back to discuss my results. I'm terrified. I truly don't know what I'm going to do if I lose my script, which I'm probably sure is what's going to happen. Has anyone gone through this? Is my name put into a database, can they share this failed test to my insurance, job, police? I'm sorry if that's a dumb question but I just have no clue, I just want to prepare myself for the worst, what is my Dr most likely going to say on this phone call?:(:( If anyone can share what they've gone through..I'd really appreciate it...:(:(

Welcome to the site

If you have not been abusing your medication, have no history of abuse and your not using anything else then you need to explain this with your doctor during your phone call. Drug tests can give a false positive for a number of reasons which you need to discuss with your doctor - if your still using supplements then it would be a good idea to list of what you have used since your last appointment (including any cold or allergy medicines etc).

The site doesn't allow the discussion of drug tests and this would be covered under that rule so I have no alternative but to close this thread.

For your own peace of mind make the call sooner rather than later.

Good luck
