faded confussion

what was i trying to think
i thought i knew how
things were always the
way they never were
because they've faded
i knew how this would come
about the same way i knew
all the time would
disappear from my mind
because it's faded
realizing now what i
never thought before
i came around to see
how things would affect me
because i've faded
but memories are lost
in an field full of
repetitive scenery
it all seems the same
as it fades away
what was i going to say
what was i going to do
before it faded away

i don't come in words very often but i really should. the title of this thread didn't really catch my eye but WOW! i like this alot -- poignant, bittersweet; everything good poetry should be. bravo....
