I have tested over 30 pills with the EZ test and almost always they show an XTC-like substance, but I never get that euphoric/happy/well being feeling like with MDMA. The feeling most of the time is more of a body buzz and/or mashy type.
My question is how does MDA or other XTC like substances feel compared to MDMA??
Do they give you that "heavy" feeling or is it something else??
It's not me cause I still have some pills with MDMA in them and everytime I take them I get the same feeling. The problem is the new stuff out there..
Anybody with similar experiences??

he's right.
early on, the test kits claimed a different result for MDA and MDEA, but later they retracted it.
MDA is a primary amine and should react faster than MDMA; MDEA has a larger alkyl group and could react slower. however, in the real world it seems to end up that "fast" and "slow" are academic and both reactions *seem* to instantly go to completion.
as you no doubt discovered at erowid =) the drugs have very different effects.
you should know, if you don't already, that MDMA, MDEA and MDA are not cross-tolerant. say you've done MDMA 200 times and need a gram of it to feel anything, but you've never done MDEA. then, if you happen to get some MDEA, your tolerance to MDMA doesn't count; it's your first time on MDEA, and if you took 8 tabs thinking it was MDMA and you *needed* that many... well, you know what happens.

er as far as i understand it MDMA and MDEA are so closely related as to be are cross tolerant, in the sense that if you gain a tolerance to one by taking too much, you wont feel the full effects of the other. this isnt the case for MDA/MDMA tho, as MDA works on the brain in a slightly different manner.

that makes sense... i read the tolerance thing a long time ago anyway. (by analogy, amphetamine and methamphetamine work in slightly different ways too)
but from a practical standpoint, you're far less likely to encounter MDEA than MDA. MDA is easier to make (at least resources-wise) than MDMA, while MDEA is just as difficult and may even be slightly harder (or easier, i don't know)
the dancesafe archives, which are the only accessible data i trust, rarely list MDEA while MDA is fairly common.
a test that distinguishes primary from secondary amines (like sodium nitroprusside [Simon's reagent] or benzenesulfonic acid) would tell you whether you have MDA or MDMA. i believe sodium nitroprusside is marketed to law enforcement as a 'test for cocaine' (though it would really only show if a sample supposedly containing coke was fake or contained a secondary amine drug)

no MDEA is no longer common, but a few years back it seemed liked certain parts of the world were awash with it. rumour was that cerrtain countries had not made MDEA illegal, and were using that loophole to legitemately make MDxx. those loopholes are gone now so there is no need to make MDEA.
Simon's reagent is what i believe the new EZ Test Supreme to be, altho this hasnt been confirmed by aj or anyone else from EZ Test. I also believe that Dancesafe were considering releasing a second tester based on Simon's, but nothing has been heard about this for ages, perhaps they have dropped the idea.
as for coke testers, i've seen one in action recently, and my but it goes a pretty colour (electric aqua blue)

It is Simon's, yes.
And the loophole was in... (guess what !) .. The Netherlands. That's why there WAS a lot of MDEA around.
