This first started happening when I first started taking pills/mdma. Even the relatively 'mellow' pills would make me violently shiver/shake at some point during the experience..usually lasts about an hour than calms down. It's not just like the shaking you get if you've had a bit too much coffee..it's like feverish violent shaking to the extent I can't even get my words out properly! I don't really feel cold..or hot but it does seem to help if I've got a blanket or warm coat round me. Does anyone know what this could be? I don't feel ill when this happens. I used to associate it with adrenaline. The worst it's ever happened has been on coke. Recently it's even started happening on alcohol which made me think maybe it's something related to blood pressure etc? Although I worked out that usually when im drinking I drink A LOT of high caffeine/sugar mixers ..so it could just be stimulants in general that do this? It also happens on high doses of cannabis..but again that can be a stimulant.
