OK, this is easy stuff!! Crush your pods, and heat in a drum with water for three hours at 85 degrees C. [depends on how much, a lot less for small amounts] The heads should be very soft, and the water VERY brown! Filter it through a sheet, squeeze it out, now put it back on heat[only 85 max], now sprinkle slaked lime[hydrated lime] in to it, you cant really overdo it as it settles to the bottom anyway!! This does two things. It transforms the morphine in to calcium morphenate, that is water soluble, AND, it crashes out ALL the alkaloids but morphine, and a touch of codeine, to the bottom of the pot!! Let it settle for a few hours with the heat off!! Now scoop out the solution without stirring up the crap on the bottom, Filter the last bit through the sheet! Now, apply heat to 85 degrees again, now your morphine is totally dissolved, with some codeine, and nothing else! Because the lime ups the PH, you will need PH down, to bring it to 7!! Now, get your ammonium chloride, sprinkle it in[125 grams per kilo..about:/] till your PH is about 9. Turn off heat, in a few hours your base morphine will be crashed out on the bottom of pot[overnight is best]. Filter it out, dry in the sun, GREAT SMOKE
If you want to go further, acidify enough water to cover the powder, with either some hydrochloric, or sulphuric acid, as you boil this off, the morph becomes either a sulphate, or a hydrochloride, depending on which acid! If you want it color free, add some activated charcoal, and filter this out, its now off white. It might take two or three goes to get it really white!! Really a very simple process, after all, its done in thatched huts in the jungle using not ideal chemicals and still works great To take it all the way is not difficult: From a pound of morph, you get about 11 ounces of up to 95% pure!!HEROIN! You can easily scale this down to very small amounts. Like 5 grams of opium, or a few ounces of poppy heads. If you do this, GRIND the heads up very finely! Ime lucky, I live where tens of thousands of acres of poppies are grown, and they grow wild all over the place:/. So, if i so desired, i could do this easily.....lol. I consider this harm reduction as using raw pods or tea is dangerous as you dont know the dose!!
