Opioids Extracting morphine from XR capsules to vaporize

SUMMARY: if I dissolve a bunch of finely ground morphine pills in water, filter it through cotton and evaporate, will I be left with a higher-purity extract that would be easier to snort/vaporize/etc?

I managed to come across some really cheap morphine sulphate capsules, M ESLON 200s. not being a needle user, I looked into various routes of administration and wasn't pleased with what I found - oral, nasal, and rectal use seem like huge wastes compared to injecting it somehow.

Last year, a buddy of mine threw a bunch of ground up Oxycontin (old school) into his volcano one time, sandwiched between layers of weed. We killed the huge bag in two hits and I was absolutely flying. I've never repeated the experience, due to health concerns, but I've been wondering if it would be feasible to extract pure-ish morphine sulphate from the powdered beads and vaporize it in a similar fashion. I'm assuming that due to the popularity of "smoked" opium, this would be a very efficient ROA. So, a few questions: Assuming I can get the temperature right, would I be able to properly and efficiently vaporize morphine with a whip-style vaporizer (a Deluxe Daddy to be specific)? And to try and extract and purify it, would I be able to prep & filter a solution like a shot, but squirt the liquid into a dish and evaporate it? Or would I have to use some kind of solvent?

EDIT: Also, if anyone knows if this would work with hydromorphone, or has tried it, your input would be greatly appreciated as well!

not sure about the vape morphine, but hydromorphone has about 35% oral BA, and 50-60% nasal BA (very high bioavailability for opiates).

Yea hydromorphone snorted is defiantly pretty strong id say 8mg hydromorphone is equal to maybe a 20mg Opana er. Least to me.

It's my understanding morphine sulphate decomposes before it can vaporize, I'd plug that ish. And you would still have a good amount of fillers and binders left in your extract.

just to bring some closure to this, a few minutes ago I said "fuck it" and ground up about 20mg worth of beads. threw them into a fat vaporizer bowl with some kush and tobacco and a little sprinkle of dope (not enough to do anything up the nose). my vape has a temperature knob that goes from 1-9, well I started at 5, took a few hits, moved to 7 and took a few more and I am absolutely destroyed. even though I'm pretty buzzed on k and mxe, I'm way fucking higher then I was before and it's a distinctly opiated high. usually when I'm just vaping weed I have to put the thing to 7 or 8 to even get any visible vapor upon exhalation. a+ experience

Any other MOA besides IV is wasting morphine, just as you said. Attempting to smoke(well, vaporize it) when it begins to decompose LONG before you could get vapors is ridiculous. And as far as being "destroyed" well, smoking kush dope and all the other drgs your doing would have you destroyed, not the few mg's of morphine you inhaled, and it simply isn't a good idea in any fashion

(Note that when I said "any other MOA besides IV is wasting morphine" I was illustrating a point. If you don't already IV, then all wisdom says not to start. But in any case, trying to vaporize pills is the biggest waste of all...
