Exploding Cloud bottle (lung, rats tail, whatever you wanna call it)

Hi

Thought I'd share this with you guys, see if it had happened to you!

I made, what I refer to as a could bottle (most will know it as a lung or rats tail) from a 2ltr pepsi bottle, a UK mail bag (works very well BTW) and loadsa tape. I used a socket set bit with a metal gauze for the bowl and it's a tight fit!

Anyway, I was pulling myself a stiching cloud last night (using resin, not herb) when all of a sudden, the fucking thing exploded and shot hot resin right into my face!!! I've heard stories of happening before but have never had it happen to me in all my years of smoking!

Thought it would be because the air inside the cloud would be way hotter than outside, so it would want to all come rushing out, but I did't do anything different! put a hole in my favourite hoody too :-(

My question is, has this happened to any of you guys before? Also, what's your opinion on smoking it this way. Personally it's my favourite because you get a big dirty hit and it burns so good!!!

My friends always use this methoud when were out driving and don't have to acess to a kichen(we do the hotknives all the time). And well I get more high off it then I do with pipes or bongs. I don't even feel high when I use pipes and what not. "The lung" has never exploded like how you discribed when I was using it. But I have heard about that from one of my friends, how it pretty much exploded and sent hash/weed flying everywhere,
 
I've never seen or heard of this happening. o_O that shit sounds intense Fucking burning resin flying everywhere ahaha I feel for ya dude
 
damn nope never happened to me. was gunna say could be a seed or perhaps if you're using metal on plastic, but since you didn't say either, beats me.
 
It sounds like you may have accidentally pushed down. Sometimes all it takes is just a little wiggle down for it to blow out the bowl.
 
never had that happen but 1 time at a party my mate was pullin a bong n the weed had sum inmature wet seed in it and when he started pulling the cone the seed pop and cherrys went everywere and got him in the eye was funny as fuck!
