Expired Drugs

I found some old drugs, that I was thinking about trying. Only....some expired in 85' :D . Is it safe to take medications that are this old. Keeping in mind they have never been open, and have been sealed away from light, and heat. Some of the drugs include, xanax, codeine, hydrocodone, lorazepam, and some other medications. Any help is appreciated...

Have you read those warnings for expiration dates on drugs? "drug may lose potentency after expiration date"

Aiken Drum is absolutely correct, unless they were kept in shitty conditions for the past 10 years...they will be fine. We had a thread about this that went into way more than it should have (i think partykid might remember ) but anyways, i'm not gonna pull it up, but if anyone wants to read it just search and you'll find.

lol, I remember what you are talking about. Sorry about that.. judging by the date of those posts I would probably say it was because of and Opiate withdrawl and a best friends death that I was acting ignorant ...

Hey man, no hard feelings...I actually forgot who I even got into that with until I was searching for something the other day and I came across it somehow, then coincidentally this post was started and you replied so I just remembered. And I totally hear you on the opiate withdrawl...I haven't used for 1 week today (i was doin h a couple times a day, for quite sometime), so I know what you were going through. And sorry to hear about your friend...
