Let's say somebody is on your mind. I'm going to split the origin of this impact/phenomenon into 2 main contributors, ego and selfless.
There are different 'triggers' that react differently in conjunction with the other triggers.
Let's say we've got something personal, like lots of desire/dissatisfaction (it may be expressed in loneliness for example.) Then there is something objective, like the way the person in question looks and acts.
Now if there is a large imbalance in the levels of contribution that favours your egotistical desire, it can be more impersonal than it would given varied contributors (and levels of contribution, as they're interdependent)
What value does the origin of emotion have, though? The emotion is not felt less, nor invalid, but
What implications have you experienced/witnessed arise from a relationship (not monogamous) with egotistical/more impersonal origin? (bad way of putting it maybe? I don't know)
I've learn from previous experience that a large imbalance of desires, or more so, unfulfilled desires can make things intolerable at a level of dissatisfaction, so I'm not too worried about that implication.
Just wanted to hear some of your thoughts, and/or experiences if you've experienced such a scenario.

Isn't that how all relationships start? I mean, you feel an attraction without knowing much about the person? Isn't that normal?
And what makes you think "nothing is going to happen there"?
