Obviously, cannabis distorts the user's sense of time, but how exactly does cannabis change it? To me, it seems like thoughts progress at the same rate but more thoughts happen within a given unit of time. Rereading that sentence sober, it seems like a paradox. Those that have never tried cannabis cannot really understand what it means until trying cannabis.

No offense man, but I think you were just high while thinking about this :)

I notice little to no time distortion. I can accurately guess how much time has elapsed while stoned. Sometimes I noticeably think slower... I find that the faster thinking I experience is usually with other drugs or while sober, not cannabis.

I agree with "a thing" I've thought of that exact same thing. Thoughts racing, makes it seem like more time has passed, along with upped heartbeat, when really it has been a lesser ammount. Also psychedelics have been known to cause time distortion.

I feel like time is slower, but I think that might be because I have no linear memory while high. I'll be talking with someone and at some point I will forget entirely what we have been talking about, only remembering the last thing the other person said. I think this makes me feel like time goes by slower, but I am always finding myself saying "wow, it's already 3 am, I didn't even realize."

I used to notice tine distortion big time when I first started smoking cannabis. Not so much after several years of practically daily use.

Or maybe we can just make time our little puppets while high huh?? Time is existent, everywhere, at all times, fluent, who says it can't wrinkle or slow/speed up!?!? Time really shouldn't be looked at in a linear manner
