The red house, dog, pall malls, wine, Swedish
Everyone sees everything
Our eyes take in all light
Every little movement moves something
And everything is something
But not all somethings are everything

I've been a thief
I've been a liar
I'm still these things
But everyone saw everything
When they were willing to speak
They were willing to be something
Everything was something then
And I was petrified

A liar and a thief and misgivings don't dread the light
Everything loves the light
They dread the solid sound
They dread the composer, the orchestra
How on Earth to hide?

I can't watch you, without knowing
That you see everything
What keeps your tongue means more than light
What holds the words holds more than light

And there's this lense in the head
Focusing every stray particle
Into a net held along a vector, held tense to some degree
Some size hole, some size string, some matter of strength
Some tension springs tied together the mess of creation
On or off are decided somewhere else
That is the key, no key stone in a bridge
But a knot somewhere down the line

No. It's all there for you to see
Not spoken is not seen, there is too much to see

As fishers, as anglers in this metaphoric light
Our delicacy of palette, the size of our appetite
Takes the net, filters out light
Pulls the net in a certain direction
Gives men places to hide
But not from light

Because everyone sees everything
Not spoken is not seen
Everything loves the light
