Supremely meaningful to me. Powerful in its scope and understanding. I only wish more people could read this and understand it as I know so many here do. And by the way, has anyone here had "hitchhikers" or "thumbs-up" as they're otherwise known as? Just asking because this icon reminds me of them. If you run across any, definitely try them. They're terrific.

You have probably helped more people than you know by sharing this here. I know many people who read the posts on bluelight but do not reply -- I'm sure that there are many, many people who have been touched just as we have.

I've loved that passage for quite some time now... it was also reprinted in a recent issue (Winter or Fall) of the Pagan publication Kindred Spirit (I believe it's a mag published in the UK, but it can be found here in the states as well). Since the first time I read it, I have tried to live my life by those words. When I first found it, I immediately copied it and for the first time in my life did a mass email to everyone I knew... It is something so profound that everyone needs to read it. I shared it with my two closest friends not too long ago, and I can only hope it impacted them as it did me. It's one of those things that's worth hanging where you can see it every morning when you wake up. *smile*
