Ever hook someone up to a drug for the first time, and bad stuff happened to them?

i've introduced 2 people to oxycontin. one of them (last time i spoke to him) has stopped, and the other "has it under control," for now. it's been a few months now, i don't think the kid is really an addict.

i'm very thankful nothing bad has happened to either of them, yet..

I've turned a few people onto dope. For me I was really having a great time, it was my dope honeymoon. And for some reason all my friends were turning into addicts but I was sure I would be different. So at first I wasn't out to hurt anyone I was just a stupid junkie. Later on I'd cop for anyone so long as they bought me some and I had so much shit to deal with I really couldn't care about the consequences of other's actions.

Looking back on it I probably have a few ass kickings coming my way. People who haven't been addicted don't realize how quickly your mind gets warped.
