I was taking Etizolam (very exact dosages) of 1 to 2mg/day for a week or so and quit for a few days - no problem.
Then, I took 2-4mg per day for a few days (3 or 4) and then missed a day. I woke up the next night, at midnight, and could not walk I was so disoriented. I had to crawl to the bathroom to use the can. I could not work my phone to call 911.
19 hours later, I woke up and called a friend and talked for about 15 minutes and hung up - I still couldn't walk for shit.
I took my BP (normally, 110/55, HR 50) and it was 145/90 and HR of 100. Used to drive ambulance, so these are resting numbers, not 'get up, run around room, then take BP' numbers.
The next thing I know, it's 8 hours later. Feeling a little better - decided not to go to hospital.
BP 140/70, HR 95
The next thing I know, it's 5 hours later. Felt good enough to drive to hospital - but only because it's just 2 miles away and I took all back streets. At hospital BP 135/65, HR 80. By the time I left, 8 hours later, BP was 106/49 and HR of 46 (WAY low!)
The hospital said my numbers (CDC/DMP) were perfect. EKG was perfect.
It was 3 weeks before my head felt right again. Did not take ANY drugs for 2 months after that.
Did not associate it with Etizolam
3 months later, I had been taking 1 or 2 mg of Etiz every day or 2 or 3 or a couple of weeks. Then, 2 or 3 nights in a row, took 4mg and then missed ONE (1) day and -- Same shit as before, but shorter duration; I was pretty much ok after 8 days.
My mother had epilepsy and I have the hand tremors (clono whatever) that can go with epilepsy or MS, but no-one has ever said that I have epilepsy and I've only ever had a seizure when I took 1 5gm Valium and a Wellbutrin together (didn't know about the seizure risk - this was 20 years ago). That seizure was NOTHING like these.
You don't have to get strung out on Etizolam to get seizures from stopping. I still have a shitload of Etizolam (took 2gm and mixed into 1 liter of Everclear so that the dosages could be measured out exactly; it was pure white - the best).
YOU do NOT want to go through what I've been through.
