Used 1-2mg of etiz daily over the last 5 days or so, having not used benzos for months previously. So tonight I took 2mg etiz to help sleep at 8pm after having 6 pints 3-4 hours earlier. Didn't seem to do much apart from a brief 30 minute power nap that I could not get back to sleep after, so I went into overkill (as I really had to up the next day with a good nights sleep) and took another 3mg. Got to twelve O clock, nothing. Took another two, nothing. So had three more beers to help potentiate its effects. Its now 6am and I've taken 10mg etiz in total with a few beers. I feel totally 100% mentally alert, not relaxed or tired in the slightest. Usually people on 10mg of etiz (ten times normal dose) with no tollerance would be so deeply asleep they'd be in a borderline coma, certainly not be able to type a coherant post on a forum.

The other blister packs of them worked fine. The only thing I can suspect is the ones I've used is a faulty low dose pack of etizolam. I really am confused by this. I have work to do tomorrow and I needed this sleep bad FFS!

Any ideas why this has happened? I do drink heavily, but do not take benzos when heavily intoxicated for the obvious health risks. I'm very confused.

Guess you must have had a duff pack. All i can say is do not assume the next pack will be the same, obviously.

On one occasion on a stimulant come down it seemed to me that the Etizolams i was taking werent working as my mind was still whirring with streams of fast thoughts whilst trying to sleep. I ended up taking 1 extra etizolam every hour throughout the night whilst still feeling wide awake, to try to combat the stimulation of quite a heavy MDPV session. Eventually the Etizolams won the battle for supremacy, so much so that i entirely lost the whole of the next day, not waking up until 8.30 pm. What made it even worse was that by about 11.45 pm that night i had to go back to bed as was still wiped out, that three hours of watching TV must have really taken it out of me, I then slept right through for another 8-10 hours. Must say that a 3 hour day is the shortest one ive ever had !

i thought the first batch of etizolam i bought were duds too. i took 24 over the couse of the night whilst drinking heavily and i was awake partying with friends until about 8am. they were the etilaam-1's. i thought etiz' just didnt work for me, but a friend gave me 3 to help with a mephedrone comedown and wow! i was fucked! i think this particular brand is unreliable in its contents and it's possible you were eating sugar pills.

I notice that several days of use in a row leads to the first dose of the day being very effective at providing mood lift and obliterating anxiety, 'booster' doses later on in the day have seemingly no effect- even though Etizolam is a short-acting drug with a fast elimination from the body.

When it comes to using Benzo's and related drugs for insomnia, many are good for initially putting you to sleep but not keeping you asleep. Short acting drugs like Zolpidem caused a lot of bad press because of this (which was corrected with the XR formulation). Etizolam is short acting so it makes sense it will help you get to sleep but not effectively keep you asleep for prolonged periods of time.

I really don't think so. Benzodiazepines and BZD-type drugs can be subtle- particularly when other substances have been consumed and can interfere with your ability to 'listen into' your body. I had such an experience with Phenazepam- I even complained to the supplier for sending me inert powder- and now I can't remember what happened for about a month out of mid-2011 (plus other bad things happened during that time while under the extended influence of Phenazepam). A stimulant comedown, panic attack, severe anxiety, these are times when a downer will make the most noticable difference in how you feel given the extreme state your body and mind are in. I think the manufacturer of Etilaam is on the level for what they are- a pharmaceutical company wih manufacturing facilities in a 'developing' (albeit powerful, important and rich) country.

^Agreed, though I think the half-life for etizolam is actually around 6-7 hours which would be ideal for sleep (and active metabolite hangs around even longer, which may actually make it longer-lasting than desired). I think that you're right about taking them early in the day and then trying to use them for sleep, though.

Anyone else notice there seem to be two different types of etiz pills? One sort has a white filling with a blue coating and the other is blue all the way through?

I know color tells you fuck all about the contents, just something I noticed.

Really makes me wonder where these are being manufactured and what production standards they adhere to.

The pills that are blue on the inside are the inferior type. Those blue on the outside are made my Intas Pharmaceutics and thus more likely to be reliable.

Using Etizolam for 5 days on the run will lead to development of tolerance, thus reduced effects without increasing the dose.

I know, thanks for the warning though. My usual rule with benzos is never more than 2x a week. But had a really stressful week. Mine are all gone now.

I took 1mg earlier from my friends pack and it did more than all ten of the others I mentioned in the OP. So a warning to etiz users, the strength can seem to vary on occasions, these don't seem to be pills that are produced based on the same safety standards most pharmaceutical benzos available on prescription are.

i was exaggerating about the 'sugar pills', yes; but as you said: 'I think the manufacturer of Etilaam is on the level for what they are- a pharmaceutical company wih manufacturing facilities in a 'developing' (albeit powerful, important and rich) country.' and so some bathces may be a little unreliable. taking 24 with little to no tolerance whilst drinking shoud have had be blacked out and making an arse of myself, or sleeping; but i felt veeeeerrry little. a couple of weeks later (with, if anything, a higher tolerance), 3 had me feeling lovely and sleepy; and i personally think this is due to slightly unreliable manufacturing. im sure the situation (viz. the meph comedown) contributed to this, but as an experienced drug user, i know these pills were stronger than those of the 24 i took the previous time.
not trying to make you sound like a dick, but i feel it's important for people buying these pills to consider this and go slow in every circumstance.

Assuming it's not a bad batch, benzo tolerance builds very quickly, like KHH said. Try taking an extended break off of benzos since you went on a week-long binge. 2x a week is a good rule for benzos, I wish I could follow that, lol. I'm either on it, or off of it, like Substance-D. ;)

Benzos are wickedly addictive, especially if you're anxious/stressed.
