I am pretty fond of Ethylphenidate, one of the most liked Research Chemicals in the world I think.
As many of you may know, this molecule is created in your body when you ingest alcohol and Methylphenidate (known as Ritalin, used for ADD/ADHD trouble).
Before going further, I must specify some rules I apply to myself and to my friends and on which I'm uncompromising : "Okay, we're taking something much stronger than weed, so there are rules and they're here for everyone security, if you don't follow these rules, you will not snort" :
1) Allergy test, for the first time and every time this is a new batch they've never used.
2) Above all, no mixing the first time they use it, they must be clean.
3) They can mix later with weed/alcohol if they think they could manage it, but low doses, progressively.
4) They have a straw, they keep it for the evening, no share at all, I think a wasted piece of paper is always better than HIV or HCV.
5) We always snort on a clean support, changed everytime, and disinfected if possible.
Then, now I'll come to the facts !
I've always ordered my stuff to a famous UK RC shop (4 batches in a year), the first time I received a white powder studded with some tiny crystals.
The second batch was pretty similar to the first one.
Both of them were used with nasal ROA which is, I must say, one of the worst stuff my friends and I ever snorted, quickly we decided to snort a tiny amount of water after the line to clean the nostril, we enjoyed the effects a lot each time despite the pain.
The third batch was not the same, for the first time I had two choices when I ordered : powder or crystal Ethylphenidate.
Having a special attraction for crystals, I chose the second option.
Actually, the stuff was composed with pretty clean crystals sprinkled with white powder.
This time, my friends and I wanted to try another ROA because we had a party where we couldn't have snorted the stuff, so we decided to put the Ethylphenidate in a bottle of water, glass type.
We didn't crush the crystals, just put them in the bottle.
And then, we saw a very weird reaction, we did not shake the bottle or touch the crystals with our hands at any moment.
This is a little bit hard to describe, but some crystals were spinning on themselves pretty quickly while dissolving very slowly, like a whirligig.
Some others had a different reaction, they were moving very fast, then stop for a while, then removing very fast, then stopping again, at incredible speeds, the best example that comes in my mind : that was like a Golden Snitch in Harry Potter movies, you know.
After a while, all the crystals were dissolved in the water.
I tried to explain this phenomenon :
- We used tap water, Ethylphenidate itself, when dissolving, reacted with the Chlorine.
- Ethylphenidate is cut with something, the cut reacted with water or Chlorine.
I remembered from my chemistry class that a freebase form doesn't dissolve in water, I deduced that I was in possession of Ethylphenidate HCL, I remembered too than HCL reacts strongly with water, but I couldn't go further than that.
Somebody there have an idea of what has occurred in this bottle ?
