Ethylphenidate legal status?

I just want to know is Ethylphenidate legal in the US? I live in California.. not asking for sources I just want to know if my shits going to get seized if I decide to order some for research purposes or if it's 50/50.. don't want to waste money I don't have but am really curious about it! Thanks!
 
even if it is legal its 50/50. if they find it they are going to test it and you wont be receiving said package

Damn.. that sucks! Looks like I'll have to think about if I want to chance it or not.. damn I really need a strong stimulant and it's not like I could just buy speed.. I'm fucking married.. I can't hide that shit you know! Ugh.. life!
