Ether...any good?

Is ether any good to try...just experimenting? The only thing I know about the stuff is from what I've seen in 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', so...
Is the high any good? How long does it last? Is it really bad for ya (in the tri- or even tetra- kind of way)? Any side-effects (like a fucking headache with amylnitrite)? In total: recommended?

ether is probablly one of the dirtiest drugs around, well maybe next to glue, but if thats your thing then go ahead
 
What u need to do is soak a rag in ether and then plug it. Just cram it up the exit sign until just 2-3 inches is hanging out (so you can retrieve it, -there is nothing more gruesome and vile than a four day ether butt plug). After maybe 5 minutes you'll start to feel the buzz, its often necessary to stimulate the rim of the anus with smooth lubricated objects to achieve desired affects. Whats better and an even more intelligent idea than ether is duster or wet. People may put you down for huffing and being a fag, but thats because they're jealous. Only the most elite drug users wind up in the hospital... you could be elite too. -the only thing holding you back is yourself.
(sticking yer head in an oven also gets you mad fucked up -you see this brilliant glimmering white light and then hallucinate pitchforks for what seems like forever)
 
ether is not that much dirtier than booze, certainly much less "dirty" than some of the other huffsables out there (and it is prepared from ethanol and sulfuric acid)...
during a prohibition in england people found that a few drops could be stirred into water (it's not very miscible with H2O, but enough) for a nice little buzz... but it got to the point where some people were drinking shots straight up----no thanks!
and it is flammable as hell, and can be explosive as well...
a little splash on a cloth & inhaled can be a nice anesthetic, but i think i'd rather have a shot of vodka, thanks...
and that engine starting fluid has ether & hexane (basically gasoline) in it, and huffing petroleum distillates is a really bad idea (as is huffing butane, propane, toluene, benzene, carbon tet, TCE, freon, etc...)

Ether is great ...... if you wanna fuck up your liver,kidneys,and brain. for fucks sake diethyl ether is an industrial solvent not a recreational drug HST was probably just bullshiting like the adrenochrome thing in fear and loathing ,ether can get you sort of high but it's not worth it. I recommend 130mg MDMA much nicer than sniffing a dirty old ether can.

yea ether is bad for u, but its fucking funny as hell when u start sucking deep breathes into your rag. I have to admit i liked it but b/c of what it can do to you i'm unsure if i'd do it again. Hell i had to try it - I won't pass up anything if its my first time.
