Does anyone have any experiences with this compound? Doses, effects, pharmacokinetics? I am in the process of obtaining some.

I recall this pro-convulsive issues with methymethaqualone, but etaqualone looks far closer to its parent, methaqualone, and I would assume is perhaps slightly less potent and perhaps shorter acting, but this is just a guess.

I realize very few of us have tried true methaqualone, so a comparison might not be easy to get. But any info about the subjective effects, including toxicity/body load and hangover. Can it be smoked like methaqualone? But again, any experiences would be great even if it was not with etaqualone itself but with a related quinazolinone.

This compound has surfaced from a reliable RC vendor, and I wanted to see if there were any experiences with this compound before administering. If I have heard of you, know you or have you seen you post here you can PM about further details.
 
when this was available in 2008-2009 i never orally took it, but smoking 50mg - 100mg on a bed of ash out of a bubbler would leave me with a "bell ringer" type audio distortion along with a rush of euphoria that lasted from half a minute or less then depending on the dose, there was a sedation "afterglow" that lasted a few minutes to several minutes. the product i had then was pure white so it may take a little extra of this yellow stuff that just came out
 
Thanks. This batch is indeed yellow, and is said to be 98% pure. Any ideas as to the adulterants, un-reacted precursors or by-products that would cause it to be yellowish?
 
Yellow-brown tar/etc is ubiquitous as a reaction byproduct, and very hard to say what it is unless you know what synthesis route they took.

It just means they just didnt clean it up well, and 2% of something colorful can make a sample look FILTHY.
 
etaqualone (ETQ) has been written about a lot on ADD and elsewhere on BL, dread posted about it quite a bit. my experiences were underwhelming - i have used MTQ, ETQ and MMQ. the ETQ i had was gleaming white and was by far the least interesting of the quinazolinones ive tried. i would take over 200mg without feeling more than a light sedation and some myorelaxant effect. it would be a stretch to say that it approached the potency or euphoria of two beers, and i tried snorting it, smoking it and taking it orally - it always produced an 'almost there...but not quite' kind of sensation. there is also pronounced tachyphylaxis so redosing is a waste of material.

I tried this compound when it was available from that one vendor who is now dead...

IMO the effects were pretty mild. The first time I tried it I got a nice euphoria and a woozy feeling, kinda like on pregabalin. There seems to be a rapid tolerance though, the second and third times I took dosages 2-3 times the first and experienced almost no effects.

It's nothing to write home about. A nice relaxing substance, but very mild and low potency.

edit: right, tachyphylaxis, that's the word I was looking for...
 
I'm curious to see if this batch is different from the rest. I feel like most of the old reports all came from one or two original synthesises, which may have been bad or impure. I just have a hard time believing that 500mg-1000mg of Etaqualone would have no effect on a numerous amount of people. It was used as a medication, it should do something at least. Hopefully negrogesic can help us out here.
 
Have some of this new batch coming, will report on effects. Any know the actual medical dosage? Obviously i'll start with a 1mg tester dose, after the haupt thing im much more cautious.
 
Has anyone tried this new yellow etaqualone yet? I am wondering if it is worth it?
 
Tried 450 mg of the new etauqualone last night. Effects were pleasant, took longer than they should have to hit since I had a full stomach. Felt a bit drunk with a more euphoria, very enjoyable. When combined with cannabis I was almost to high, felt a bit uneasy. Next time I will try 600mg on a completely empty stomach.
 
For those in the know:

What you equate it to (roughly): GHB, BENZOS, BARBs, Ether, Halogenated inhalants, ethanol?


Im particularly interested in the smoked effects.
 
Haven't smoked it yet, not sure at what dose I should use for smoking. Any recommendations? It felt like ethanol at times, sedating yet stimulating at the same time, I know that doesn't seem to make sense but its the best way I can describe it. Quite a nice warm glow with this one as well. No waves of euphoria, just a steady, calm euphoria. Also quite strong muscle relaxant effects. I haven't tried it enough yet to give a proper review, though at the moment im quite fond of it :)
 
id start with 30mg and work your way up. with the old white batch the most I smoked was about 90mg, but at that point the liquefied etaqualone would start running through the ash in my bowl and I wouldnt be able to finish the whole 90mg in time. But however much I got caused a nice rush

negrogesic - out of your list ive only taken ethanol, and benzos. For sound distortion at the peak of a smoked dose(which comes on basically as soon as you exhale) I would compare it to nitrous almost. There is a choppy like effect that I noticed while peaking on etaqualone. The peak high after smoking is kind of hard to describe. In short it makes your entire body feel incredibly good for the ~ 20 or so seconds the peak lasts(I've never timed it). Another peak effect is loss of motor coordination. The post-peak high is like an opiate kind of, just general sedation - like you don't want to move anywhere. I guess you'll only really know once you try it :)

I tried vaping it when I had some of that old batch but it tasted so horrible I could only take one hit and that didn't have much effects at all.
 
I had the same experience as dread, the smoke tasted like carisoprodral, very bitter. Also got little effects from it, not worth smoking IME.
