Stimulants Ephedrine and urine drug tests?

I'm currently on Methadone Maintenance for opiate addiction (I had acute pancreatitis...got IV morphine then subscribed oxycodone) and I have to give a urine sample for drug testing (everything is tested, not just methadone and opiates) every 2 weeks.

I'm also anorexic and take ephedrine (w/caffeine and aspirin). Will ephedrine give me a positive for amphetamines?

Is it classed as an amphetamine? I always thought of it has a half-way point between caffeine and speed/meth.
 
It can cause a false positive for amphetamines, yes.

I tested positive for amphetamines for one of my juvenile probation drug tests, and the only stimulants I was taking were caffeine and ephedrine pre workout supplements.

Not trying to scare you or anything, I would just stop taking it a few days before your drug test to be on the safe side.
