enough

[the other side]

i saw you recently,
but already,
i miss your smell
and your warmth
your body next to mine
holding me
and that is enough.
i miss the way you look at me
and how you gently kiss my body
i miss you tracing circles on my stomach
and remembering to take off your socks
i like how you hold me
when i get cold
you warm me
inside and out
and the way when i finally see you
after a while
you hold me
and say that is all you wanted to do
i’m not sure what is happening
or what will happen
or really what is going on
but for some strange reason
maybe for a first
it doesn’t really matter
because i like living in the moment
with you.
and that
is enough.
