Endorphins

If I remember correctly, studies in male animals have shown that vasopressin is released during copulation, and oxytocin upon orgasm. I think it is likely that oxytocin is a major player in post-coital empathy/trust.

As far as I am awear, there are no good studies on neurochemical changes during orgasm. You'd need to use voltametry/amperometry, as microdialsysis or in situ hybridization would be far to slow to track the changes. I'm sure there are studies looking at oxytocin changes in the plasma during sexual arousal and orgasm, but I'm not sure if that really tells anyone much.

ok bilzor, I like you and respect everything you say. you truly are brilliant.

BUT ITS SPELLED : A W A R E

Had to get that off my chest, seen it in too many posts

Yeah, and I spell pressure preasure all the time too... what are you gonna do? I get their there and they're mixed up as well. (but really aware, you can see where I'm coming from wanting to spell it awear, it's not pronounced "awah" or "awar" or "awaer")
