Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

You guys see that Tesla that drove off the highway in California ? Fell 250 feet and all 4 people are currently alive but in critical condition, and 2 of the people were kids , 4 and 9….I’m guessing if the auto pilot was on when this happened this will be very bad for Tesla even tho it saved all 4 peoples lives

I wonder what car Smeghan and Barry drive.

Cadillac SUV and a Prius, I believe.
I always imagined Larry would drive a lame smart car. Something like this.

Apparently the driver intentionally drove off the cliff and has been arrested for attempted murder

Interesting. Raises a lot of questions about how legitimate the claim is from either party, given electronic data can be made to lie just as much as a driver can. Your word against code hidden within propriety software/hardware.. no way anyone could ever fight against that (and a billion dollar corporation).

Personally there's no way I'd ever trust my life to a vehicle that could potentially malfunction and turn left into a tree at 50mph for no fucking reason what so ever.

Yeah I'm not about to beta test that shit especially since Musk was caught silencing several employees who created it that were speaking out about it's flaws and errors.

Don't worry, the cybertruck will be safer. Oh wait....
As it stands, the Cybertruck will not be fitted with airbags. Driver and passenger safety will rely on a combination of the vehicle’s unique body styling, the innovative use of materials, build quality, seating position, and seatbelts.

I love the cybertruck. It's the perfect embodiment of the socially inept, worldly unwise, silicon-valley nerdling types who believe pure logic can equal creativity, that logic is the superior (and only) form of thinking. That if humanity simply turned itself over to their type of specialized thinking we'd reach some sort of technological singularity, peace would dawn, and we'd live in a star trek utopia.

The truck looks like a hunk of garbage haha.

Wow, yeah what an ugly vehicle.

Also has anyone else noticed the absolute plague of just horribly written "articles" like this out there? Seems like nearly every article I read these days has glaring mistakes everywhere, and horrible grammar.

"You see, while most of us believed that the quirky ‘triangle’ shape of the Cybertruck was all down to the design team at Tesla trying to go wild with their thinking. It turns out nothing could be further from the truth because unknown to most of us. " (guess they forgot to finish that thought... I question whether it was truly a "thought" though)

" it’s likely to be classified as a Class 2B medium-duty vehicle as such, is not legally required to have airbags fitted. "

"The benefits of using stainless steel in this way not only help to make the Cybertruck heavier it also makes it much tougher on the outside and rust-resistant"

"Whereas in mainland Europe, where manufacturers are required to pass more tests, do more paperwork, and different governments are involved in the safety approval process of vehicles. (Which is why missing side mirrors are proving challenging)" (smh)

And there was more, I just got bored with making fun of the article. And this s far from the worst "writing" I have seen in articles like this recently.

i think there's a general decline. if bl is a microcosm, you see it here too.

people who can't spell for shit, who use words that clearly don't mean what they think they mean and have no idea how to correctly use an apostrophe.

the split infinitive is deliberate :)

alasdair

what does spelling and apostrophes get you in the real world ? Cause from what I notice not shit, just a false sense of superiority, if I had a dollar for every person I know that went to college and still don’t make half what I make I’d be able to retire
