Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

You can get pr0n anywhere.. And probably sports injury reports, so why Twitter?

No - twitter is easily the fastest source for who's at practice who's not, and who's practicing off to the side

that's one of my weapons to win fantasy football championships

ask anybody

who's the champ?

say my name bitches

As an artist/musician who uses symbolism, dadaism, NS-themes & tons of political incorrectness, I've been dealing with censorship since before it was a mainstream talking point.

At one point none of these websites cared. You could upload any kind of fucked up music or art you wanted. I had a youtube channel with thousands of uploads & thousands of subscribers for 9 years. Then it all got taken down for "hate speech".

The other day I got in trouble on facebook for mentioning it was Hitlers bday (on 420). lol
But if I want to cheer on the Azov Battalion, that's okay.

There's almost no point in using these social media sites anymore if you're an artist or have an eccentric non-PC personality.

It doesn't leave much that's acceptable, does it? Like Jordan Peterson says, you have to risk offending *someone* to have a good intellectual discussion.

Reminds me of this video by one of our comedians. 18M views! That's impressive bc he isn't that well known

American Football

not that goofball game you guys play down there:

I think both left and right have lost their minds on this one. The nutty woke lefty liberals because they think Elon's move is some fascism crap ("Reeeee!!"), the right-wing/fanboys because they think Elon actually gives a fuck about democracy and the people.

I don't understand Elon fanboys. The guy puts batteries in cars and uses the surname of perhaps the greatest actual genius who ever lived to market his 'brilliant idea'. That's impressive? Really? This is the best we can come up with after almost a century since Nikola Tesla.. fucking duracell cars? Personally I think Elon is nothing more than a front man like Bill Gates or Bezos, someone who sold out in exchange for being the front man of huge industry that had its initial seeding (financial and technological) by the intelligence agencies/military industrial complex that have their own agendas.

The guy wants to link your brain to machines for christ sake. How do you square that circle with his apparent concern over free speech lmao.

there's a post on the next page, saying about cancel culture.. I say, how come this website remembers your account creds while doesn't ask for "cookies", for average joes that come here for advice they might as well not known there's a whole other world other than their loops of ghetto drugs and they might not care yet they say no to doxxing.

perhaps if you had half brain, you say oh how would world be if more were like you well there are and stil it doesn't weight enough on scale to show up numbers. Apple created the if sadly not active because that's what they want, the most "pressure point" gaming pc hardware related

He seems ok to me (for someone that powerful). I don't know much about him at all but I don't get bad vibes from him.
as a person? sure, he seems like a decent guy

it's the bigger picture, a man with that much power and influence over society, he symbolizes the consolidation of wealth and power in this country, which in itself is tragic and something to resent

he could end homelessness, poverty and hunger on a whim

he 'joked around' about ending world hunger, then went quiet... few months later buys twitter instead

I mean yeah, it's his money... capitalism... he can do what he wants... blah blah, but I find that perspective falls apart at a certain level of wealth which is just stupid and unnecessary

I don't resent him as a person, I resent the system that created, supports and protects him. Musk is the symptom of a sick society.

Good points. Both sides are just as ridiculous. And I think lots of people following Musk do so out of groupthink and peer pressure. Whatever is fashionable at the time and whatever people with the biggest numbers and obviously, what everyone else is talking about too.

Self driving cars were coming anyway. Musk capitalized early on the market and hey, that's what makes our world go round. He also has done a little more than put batteries into cars. He has shifted an entire industry around electric cars towards a standard that is elevating the future of it. For better or worse, whether you like him or not, he's put electric cars on the map and driven the technology forward.

As for the brain chips, that's also been coming for a long time. Again, he's capitalized on it. Brain chip technology is nothing new. Its been an ambition for science for a very long time. We are going in that direction with the augmentation of ourselves with our digital world. Inevitably we will end up at a point where we become part of the digital world to degree that we actually are assimilated completely into it.

I think what you are mistaking is taking this personally. Its capitalism 101 and he plays the game very well. The problem is the system really. The system is what drives this level of predatory competition and promotes monopolization of resources. The rules in which we play the game need looking at and then you would see the likes of all the billionaires get put on a more even playing field. But that's not going to happen and so you will always find a small percentage of people taking advantage and exploiting for their own benefit.

I do personally think Musk is the lesser of evils that exist in the world. And maybe that's why he has such an allure because I do believe he has a conscience and strives somewhat to represent a vision bigger than himself. I don't believe he is a saint nor is he coming to save us.

I'm far more cynical. These are the sorts of outcomes of a deliberate vector of growth that the establishment has wanted for about a century now. Electric cars solve nothing at all from an environmental standpoint, but do allow for far tighter control over movement of populations. Brains chips.. well, that needs no explanation!

It's pretty clear we're being pushed rather than drawn towards some sort of dystopian technological hell. If the establishment/military industrial complex put their name to these innovations then the public would react against it, so they utilized fronts instead to avoid backlash. I think Elon is part of that equation. I don't believe anyone can amass that level of wealth or create industry disrupting technology without being under the thumb.

The lack of MSM challenge to the electric cars and littering of Earth's orbit with satellites tells me all I need to know. His words and actions aren't congruent either. In short, you could argue he is just a capitalistic conman.. but in my estimation there's more going on.
