Here's another article about a drug called "smiles".

September 25, 2012 (WPVI) -- Two brothers, ages 7 and 10, were treated at Lehigh Valley Hospital Tuesday night after police say they ingested some sort of illegal substance.

Bangor Police are investigating whether the boys took a synthetic drug called "smiles."

The Northampton District Attorney says the boys were experiencing hallucinations Monday and sent to the nurse's office at Washington Elementary.

i like how the media jumps on things in some sort of organized fashion with no regard for facts or what actually happened. It's like someone at the top was like, 'well it's time to attack 2c-i'. It's always this brand new drug that no one has heard of and i guess it just gets a lot of readers.

smells fishy to me. It's the same as what they did to MXE.

this shit sounds like something invented by the media.

lol at facebook comments by concerned moms. Stand by for another national drug hypedemic:

So is the only proof they these kids took "smiles" that there was some article about some dumb ass teenager that saposibly od on it in another part of the country last week.

These kids od on some random drug it must be that "new" "killer" that has been around for 30 years. Atleast they didn't refer to it as 2c-i in this article. I really hate how the author titled it in a way that makes it seem like they actually have proof they took it but when you read it it says they don't know what they took.
This reminds of that article titled " mmj shops linked to selling meth, coke, and heroin; then you read the article and find out the cops only confiscated marijuana products.

When did 2c-i suddenly become so popular and widely available? To the beast of my knowledge it never got anywhere near the kind of distribution the various "bath salt" pyrovalerones and cathiones did. It's always been pretty easy to find online, but I can think of many other research chemicals which would be far more likely to inspire an epidemic of this sort of craziness.

Why has the media decided on 2ci nbome as the latest victim? Most people have never heard of any 2c drugs, let alone the nbome's.
Probably people snorting 100mg lines of super potent powder thinking its coke or cat.

3 things that need to stop:

1 stop saying "new drug readily availble online just type (drug name) and buy into google just be mindful of your parents kids!" all over the news.

2 stop giving them all these stupid nicknames making them more appealing to kids or more likely for them to find the name or remember them

3 stop it with the fear campaigns. No one does drugs because there primary effects are seizures psychosis and death. If you really think that's what drugs are about you shouldn't be writing articles on them.

But seriously if they stopped telling kids about them in the news and informing them of strange things they would never encounter perhaps it would stay that way

Are they talking about 2c-i or 25-i? Ive seen both mentioned in articles about "smiles" and im just curious to know if these asshole reporters even know what drug they are reporting about. If theyre going after 2c-i it seems a bit foolish seeing as how its schedule 1 in the US

I doubt that they even realize there is a difference.

Were these kids even on drugs at all? I would imagine if you claim to be "trippin bawlzzzz" in school youd be sent to the hospital alongside the cops. Zero tolerance policy, ya know.
