Is there any legal and non-prescription stimulant or combo of drugs/supplements with similar effects as PEA + selegiline combo but with a much longer half-life?

I just add that I do not want it for FUN or to get a high off it. I am suffering from social anxiety and my goal is being a bit more talkative, maybe a mood lifting, motivation and less anxiety, tension around people.

Please help me find something as substitute for Adderall. Unfortunately drugs as Adderal, Dexedrine are not approved in my country(I am from Europe).

I have tried a many meds, for example Fevarine (Fluvoxamine),Anafranil, Citalec(Citalopram), Seroquel and currently I take 30mg of Paroxetine + 100mg Trazodone daily... but nothing working for my SA.

Many thanks for help.

May I ask why it needs to be non-prescription? This severely limits the number of drugs which you might find effective.

I have not found any informations about Tonquil / Clofenciclan on the internet... i know only that is it dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Is it prescription drug or only is supplement? It can helps me with my phobia ?

Is possible legal to get in Europe ? If you know more about this, please write me.

many thanks

Mike

because stimulants are not approved in my country for treatment social phobia or depression. I can get only Benzodiazepines and antidepressants.

I am considering trying Phenibut, but it has very fast tolerance. It will probably not working for me:(

Stimulants are a terrible and ineffective choice for long-term treatment of social anxiety and depression. You did not state in your original post that you wanted to use stimulants for these purposes.

Why do you believe that stims are the answer to your anxiety/depression?-DG

Even benzodiazapines are inappropriate in the long term.
How serious a try have you given cognitive behavioral therapy?

I will not take stimulants every day, maybe i take it 2-3 times for week before some hard social situations... other days I will take BZDs, Phenibut, Pea+selegiline and other supplements which I have. Otherwise I am taking SSRI Paroxetine + Trazodone daily. I know that stimulants not treat SA and sometimes it even worse for anxiety and depression.

...sorry for my English.

What do you think being high due to stimulants consists of? You've listed the reasons people take them recreationally ie more talkative, mood lifting etc

^^ Well stimulants are a 'lil bit' more than just mood lifting.
Alcohol, weed and benzos can also act as mood lifters and make you more talkative.

Anyway, same situation here where I am.
No stimulants especially amphetamines can be prescribed (only ritalin but with a federal prescription). SUX!
I also think that stimulants are prety good for social anxiety apart from being good mood lifters, but i can clearly see how theese can be dangerous if used for long term treatment.

They can make you seriously anti-social as well. You may finding yourself talking shite on internet forums for 26 hours at a stretch instead of connecting with the 'real world,' or walking round and round town in circles, talking to no-one. I don't suffer from social phobia but I can be shy and wary of strangers, and find stims had this effect on me.

And then there is the comedown, which can be very serious if you suffer from depression. It can send you into a major depressive spiral.

Just sayin'. Try before you rely.

I suspect Hammy was joking...

Well, I dunno. I can see how a stimulant, particularly one so short acting as selegiline + pea, could be used as an adjunct to guided exposure therapy, but given classical stimulants' strong reinforcing properties, it will likely become a 'crutch' rather than a learning tool. I would stick to rare benzodiazapines for such purposes.

If you found CBT to be ineffective, I would consider trying out another therapist or sub-category of therapeutic technique...those rooted in exposure therapy tend to be comparatively effective. Also, please take care not to confuse things being difficult or a little scary with them not working outright. It's not ideal, but humanity simply lacks appropriate pharmacological tools to treat this disorder right now. . .

Have you ever tried venlaflaxine(efexor) or paroxetine? Some people dislike them but they have shown some results in treating general and social anxiety.

Benzodiazepine are also good for anxiety but it's better to find one with lless sedating effects and more enxiolitic properties with long half life.
I have read about pinazepam and prazepam that have a long acting anxiolitic effect without elevated sedating properties.

I also suggest that you take a look at this thread about antidepressants. It contains a lot of personal experiences:
