Opioids Effective Filtering for Opana (oxymorphone) IR 10mg

I've been having problems effectively filtering my Endo oxymorphone 10mg IR pills. These are the pink generic Opanas. They contain an inordinate amount of filler, and it seems to be some hefty junk for filters to deal with. I typically filter first with cotton and then a micron, but even the pre-filtered solution from double cottons jams the micron filter in less than 1ml. My micron filter rate (.22) is averaging one pill per filter - waaaay too expensive. I had previously used .45 microns prior to the .22 but although it helped, it wasn't that much better, so factoring in the price of the additional filter, I'm was really no better off.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks or know of a more effective way to filter?

Are there other people out there shooting Opana IRs? What's your prep?

I have not had these in a very long time, but I used to have the same problem with the 5mg blue ones.

I think I have actually asked this same question before but never got any response.

Kinda glad to see I am not the only one who has run into this issue.

Someone once suggested using a centrifuge to separate the particulate, but most of us do not have one laying around.

Anyone?

I used to get these. I would bust up alot and use bacteriostatic water so the solution would keep... get it in the water, dissolve, shake, let sediment settle out, pull the water from the top of the container into a 3mL syringe, then push that through a cotton, then a micron. It worked well for me every single time.

Appreciate the info, thanks. Which filters do you use? And do you use only one pore size of micron filter, or do you go through a larger one and then a smaller?

I use the Whatman PVDF .22 micron filters. The have a sort of pre-filter attached, but I always go through tightly packed cotton first.
