Effect of cold on chemicals

Its well known that heat damage chemicals but what about cold ?

From exemple; would a chemical turn bad if left outside during the winter ?

Generally speaking no, it will only slow down decomposition.

The exception being things like carbonic acid solution, if you freeze it, you destroy it.
