Being more susceptible to viruses.. Do you think extacy may be lowering our immune system? It seems everytime I take one now I catch a cold, or a bad cough. Currently from Saturday I've got a chest infection now, I wake up in the middle of the night coughing so bad I cant breath till I cough up a nice bit of muscus the size of my palm. The sicknesses you catch from the drug always seem worse as well and stick around longer.

Yes, MDMA does impair the immune system. It's probably not coincidence that you're catching colds and whatnot after a night out.

And there was once when I rolled while I was sick. It was stupid sort of, but anyways ... My sore throat went away and I could finally breathe through my nose clearly when the pills hit.... but 5 hours later my throught slowly began to hurt again and i was getting stuffy... The next day I was WAY more sick than I had been the day before.

I did spot the positive part of that article: "Not all research on MDMA is into its negative effects. Stephanie Linley at Florida Atlantic University in Port St Lucie points out that the drug is now being investigated for clinical use in diseases as wide-ranging as schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder and terminal cancer."

I agree that the government uses some pretty badscare tactics in the research of illicit drugs but I dont think that every singe reserch paper that publishes information making the use of illegal drugs dangerous should be made out to be a huge conspiracy by the government to make the public hate drugs and drug users.
The paper also says that using MDMA as adolecents actually may decrease the damage dome by MDMA as adults. This to me does not sound like this huge lie to make us all quit using psychcedelic drugs. They also state that they cannot tell that the breach is permanent.
Im sorry to pick on you F&B I value your opinon on drugs, you are far more advanced in chemisrty than me. But there are many more examples of this above your post, and far more annoying ones too. I just think these studies should also be taken astface value, they do not imply at all that this study is 100% sure. It just says that more attention needs to be payed to the blood-brain barrier and MDMA's effects on it.
Im not trying to cause a hug argument, I just think people should value the information in all studies done on these drugs, it a miracle scientists can study these at all.
