Ecstasy - fairly inexperienced - going solo

I have limited experience of ecstasy - I first took it a couple of years ago and quite liked it, and have dropped maybe four times since then. I tend not to actively seek out drugs, and just indulge when the opportunity presents itself, but this time, I really fancied getting hold of some for future use. Using a contact I made around the first time I rolled, I managed to get hold of 20 ecstasy tablets (I was stocking up - I'm sure these will last me at least a year!!!).

Usually when I'm on ecstasy, I become fairly introverted, and just want to sit by myself, listening to music. Friends say I usually go very quiet (I am a very confident and even 'loud' person usually so this is a noticeable change). For these reasons, I decided I really wanted to try rolling alone. So come the evening, around midnight, I took 1 and a half dissolved in water (I wanted a quick comeup and comedown). In retrospect, I'm not even sure why I felt the need to take more than one at a time - not something I've done before, though I have redosed throughout the night, taking up to 3 sometimes.

I know it's incredibly quick, but within 10 minutes, I swear I started to feel the tingles, not to mention a feeling of arousal. This continued for a while and then dissipated. About an hour later, while chatting with a friend on MSN and having felt nothing for some time, I decided to snort the half pill I had left.

Within about half an hour of snorting, I was coming up hard. Lovely waves of warmth and some eye wiggles whilst watching Daft Punk Live on TV. Also, I was becoming incomprehensible to my friend on MSN, so I signed off and just chilled on my bed with my dog. My nose was really sore from snorting the pill, and I was starting to get stomach twinges like I wanted to throw up. I did try to vomit, but nothing would come up - I find it almost impossible to vomit in any circumstances. Still, I was enjoying the roll and just relaxing.

Around 3am, I was feeling calm and really quite hot, so I decided to lie down and try to get some sleep, or at least relax.

This is when it gets weird...

The closed eye visuals were incredibly intense. I was seeing psychadelic images, some very positive, some very negative. I was never scared of the negative ones though, just interested, and I did seem to have the ability to control them, so it wasn't too much of an issue. Also, the aural hallucinations were so real and crisp. I was listening to a full set by some incredible DJ, even though my room was silent. Some of the music I recognised, some not. (At one point, while thinking about being bored, the concept of boredom appeared to me as a slab, and threw itself on the floor, while singing a song by 'The Feeling' through it's small cartoon like mouth. It really felt like it was taunting me!)

After I while, I started to get bored of the incredibly high octane visuals, which were now translating to open eye visuals. My whole room appeared to be breathing and I could no longer make out my dog's face. I wanted to sleep, and have previously had no trouble whatsoever sleeping on Ecstasy. This time, it was not to be. The visuals were just becoming more and more intense, and through them, I was coming to conclusions that I had not even been able to think about while sober. The clock ticked on, and at 9am (yes - 9 hours after dropping!!) when I felt the intensity start to fade, I decided to take the dog to the park.

This was incredibly hard. I felt freezing cold and dizzy. My muscles felt like they were involuntarily spasming. I will never understand how I managed to hold conversations with the other dog walkers there. I remember having to concentrate incredibly hard.

At 11am, I went to bed and managed to get 4 and a half hours sleep. I felt a lot better than I did earlier, though still terribly hungover (just like an alcohol hangover). I had a headache, sore limbs, poor vision, and the incredible desire to throw up (still couldn't do it!!)

Finally, at 9pm, I went to bed, slept for 12 hours and feel great today. Hoo-bloody-ray.

Lessons learnt? Well, I'm not sure if that was just MDMA in my pills - so many things I didn't recognise; the difficulty sleeping, the intense visuals and the incredibly tough hangover/comedown. Of course, maybe they were just very high dose, and the two I took was too much. Also, I learnt that being high on your own, while an opportunity for introspection, is ultimately dull, frustrating and pointless. Won't be doing that again!!!!!

While speculating as to the actual content of your pills is completely useless, I seriously doubt it was pure mdma. Sounds alot like a 2Cx experience, or DOC.....????? Anyways, I know what you mean, me and a pal had that happen our last "x" session, with 3.5 tabs of highly recommended stuff, we got into some nice visuals at the 3 hour mark, and after smoking some high grade herb, we got nuked into ludicrous speed for a while....music was PART of us as we lay in a darkened room...CEV's were controllable and flowing, very powerful and feelings of utter weightless floating...man, what a good suprise. Wish I knew what it was...

Wow - never even considered it might be something like 2-Cx or DOC. Sure didn't turn out like any MDMA I ever had before...

I am a twat for not owning a testing kit. Lesson learned...
