Ecstasy + Anti Depressants

wasssgood. I was wondering if anyone out there is currently prescribed to an anti-depressant or has been in the past that has used ecstasy. I know that SSRI's mess up your roll but I was wondering if it was just like that with those or with all anti-depressants. I was prescribed Wellbutrin today which is an anti-depressant and was planning on rolling next on New Years for an event in Chicago. The only problem with this is , it is about 2-3 weeks after the medicine should start to begin working. Anyways that's my question thanks in advance for any responses. PluUUuURr stay safe.
 
SSRI's will blunt the roll, so no serotonin activity. So you'll feel something, but it's not even remotely worth taking

MAOI's will kill you if you take MDMA on them

Wellbutrin sticks out as it's an NDRI, so you CAN still roll on it. There are some additional concerns however, Wellbutrin can inhibit CYP2D6, one of the enzymes that metabolizes MDMA, meaning it will take longer to remove it from the body. Not terribly longer however, as a great deal of MDMA is excreted unchanged in your urine.

Once your wellbutrin levels are built up it WILL have a mild SRI effect, it's not enough to stop you rolling, but it means you'll have to bump your dose up a bit to compensate.

Keep in mind however that everything said here is extremely personal, it will be different for you than it is for me and anybody else. Many people on Wellbutrin can roll perfectly well (including me, despite being on 450mg), albeit needing slightly more to get there, whereas others have a dampened effect or even no effect at all, it is all entirely based on your personal biochemistry. Whereas I have virtually no CYP2D6 function you may still have a great deal despite being on Wellbutrin, how you respond to the SRI effect changes things, in general it's a crapshoot.

But you won't know until you try, when you try to roll, for lack of being able to find any more indepth advice, take a bit more than your usual amount and then go have fun. I find that 2 pills is only enough to give me mild effects now, but anything after that works as normal so it seems there might be a bit of a "hill" you have to get over before dosing goes back to normal for you.

So does that mean that if you drink your piss it is theoretically
possible to roll from doing so?

This is actually one of the first things I thought of when I heard this... and well theoretically it would probably be possible to do so it's a tad unfeasible to do so for a few reasons:

1. It involves drinking your piss, and this is MDMA piss which is ultra concentrated and unpleasant

2. You piss the next day and collect it... then what? Rolling two days is a rather bad idea, are you going to let it sit in the fridge for a couple of weeks or what?

3. It involves drinking your piss, so I guess if you have a watersports fetish and a raver girlfriend you could drink her piss, get high off of it and get off all at the same time. If this describes you please don't tell me though, that's better kept to yourself.
