Welcome to the internet, let me introduce you to this cool thing we've developed called "Google". If you go to www.google.com you can enter in any keywords you want, like for example "California AND Flooding" and find things out like "Does the San Fernando Valley flood?" In fact, you can do this without annoying other people by thinking out loud regarding questions you can answer for yourself.

I'm just curious, I mean NY and LA are the most moved to places, but why would ppl move there if there's flooding?

my brother says its common sense, living by the coasts, gonna be in lowlands and have flooding.

and i apologize for asking these questions, i just am trying to get some good informed educated answers to this, my google is currently not working, or I would google it.

im just baffled, why do ppl move to places that will flood their houses?

^Not all of california has problem with flooding. Just look for cities with a lower percentage of floods happening. If you want to live in california and your worried about flooding then move to the high desert.

there are natural disasters all over the world. one may ask why someone would move where there could be tornadoes, or hurricanes or heavy snow.... are there any places that don't have nature causing problems every so often?

dallas, tx brother

sure we have tornadoes, but that doesnt usually effect ppl the way heavy flooding would, does it flood alot in Cali<
