It shows how powerful addiction can be also when you think of the potential danger that people could find themselves in if they are unlucky.

Brimz stories are awesome and interesting, best thing you get to read on EADD.

You should write up a collection of memoirs, like a heroin war blog or something like that. Would be very interesting, you could have it published and make a few quid off it.

i lived i madrid in 87 and use to score off the street everyday- very esyy and proper nice kit - use to just sit in a door way and have a hit . The boys that looked out use to shout 'agua' (water) as the local police had blue uniform.

Ive always found while scoring abroad the language barrier is the factor that makes it more terrifying than anything. Sat in a car while 2/3 lads are talking in their native tongue, your thinking "these cunts are talking about where they're gonna dump my sorry carcass"....!

Some of the places ive found myself over the years have been truly awful, the tops been a refugee camp in Jordan, about 30mins outside of Amman..! Luckily the guy I was with spoke fluent english so I felt a little more comfortable, until I got to the place and geezers in full arabic get up are slaughtering goats in the street and staring at me with contempt like ive never seen. I was sure to be their next sacrifice.. The deal went down very quickly so I was out of there fairly quick, felt like an eternity though with the car getting surrounded by the local kids to gawp at the pasty weird paranoid kid in the car...! I found out a week or so later that a swedish fella was killed there days apart from my visit..

The gear was fuckin great, they shorted me on the weight though the gits

Hey. Sorry not sure if this is the right place to talk about this, but ahhhh I can't get high from gear anymore. I'm pretty sure its due to my tolerance being stupidly high from a massive smoke and binge through December. I was smoking and occasionally injecting about 2-3gs-? a day, and now, well, however much I use I can't get anything out of it apart from it getting rid of my withdrawals. I don't know what to do. I'm waiting to get a script (there's only one substance abuse place where I live and they don't want to help me come off it and get a script after I messed up my first one in December, not collecting it and going a day late)...

Sorry, I don't really know where I'm going this. I'm a stupid ass druggie, physically addicted to a drug that is shit and doesn't do anything for me. Ugh. Should I just cold turkey this, or taper, or just keep pushing the substance abuse place to help me? Any advice on what to do would mean a lot to me.

I only inject about .4, then last night another .2, whilst smoking the rest with my partner. What I don't understand is how fucked he gets when we've been using exactly the same amount, although he doesn't inject. For instance tonight he is monging out hard whilst Im feeling prettyn sober. Trying to type is incredibky hard though, so either ipads are shite or I am high, just so used to it. My vision and typing skills are proper shit though.

ah i eally want to just inject 2 £20s biits (.8ish) innone go and see how it flows.

Just wondering, would me tapering off benzos (supposed to be on 13mgs of valium but am shit and can't even get to the pharmacy to collect it) have an effect on me using? Also taking 120mgs of cymbalta (snri) occasionally do anything?

Sorry fo my shit scattered post. It's been really hard to type, thank fuck for autocorrect as my vision Is all ovrer the place... I might of overdone it on the pregabalins, took a packet but they were just 50mgs. I just want to feel euphoric and happy, I don't care if its artificial.

@ Kace, it's not good news. You're going to have to go through a very nasty withdrawal before you can get properly high again.

There used to be a detox programme where they would knock you out, using a non-opiate sedative, for 3 days, so you were already over the worst when you woke up. No idea if anyone is still doing that -- it was in the days before they tightened up the restrictions on general anaesthesia -- and attempting an unofficial copy would be extremely dangerous, but it might be worth checking out.
