E documentaries generally don't mention the crash...?

I've done half a gram of crystal MDMA before and felt little or no ill-effects afterward. Felt a tad moody about three days after, but nothing to write home about. I think it depends on the person. My average dose is a quarter gram these days, having built up a tolerance, but I still don't really crash or burn out midweek. I have come to the conclusion that I may have quite a high baseline in terms of serotonin levels, because I'm always very cheerful and happy, so maybe I don't deplete as bad as other people? I don't know, this is totally layman theorising, feel free to debunk.

But like I say, it definitely depends on the person. On the flipside of that I've seen under .2g give friends murderous comedown blues, nausea, all sorts. Swings and roundabouts I guess.

thank you... everyone is different... not every person in the worlds brain was created the same. i have known people to hate the comedown, but i think its purely mental, if you have the mental power to get over it, it doesnt bother ya

Not so sure about that, do you mean that its a case of psychological willpower? Because I'm pretty sure some people are just chemically hardwired to react in a certain way to certain things and there is little a positive attitude can do about it. Body and brain chemistry are things nobody really understands properly, so its impossible to say for sure, but I reckon your neurological setup is the biggest factor in how different your experience can be from others, rather than your personality.

Like I say though, its a very sketchy issue, and I'm no expert, but I wouldn't discount the unconscious effects of your particular chemical and neurological balance.

I'm just saying, I've rolled maybe, let's say 5-8 times. And one of those times I dropped a Q-Standby which is prolly around 180MG. Let's just say I was rolling too hard. Afterwards I proceeded to be drained and had an amazing headache, as if the seratonin had been sucked out of me.
I'm sure I'm not the first to experience this. But yeah, everyone is different.

lol @ this thread. here ill quote myself so you can read what i said again lol..

the crash is caused from serotonin depletion. the more you take and the more often you do it the more likely you are to crash and the worse it will be..

if you run out of serotonin, you will have a very hard time functioning and you will feel the effects of the "crash." period.

if youre not crashing, you havent taken enough mdma to deplete your serotonin.

i wasn't saying that chemical and neurological balance didnt play a big role in the crash, i was just saying that the way it affects some people is different. the same way a random 2 ppl can do any drug and 1 be hungover and feelin trashy and the other feel prefectly fine. was just gettin at the fact that it effects nobody exactly the same

The first time I ever rolled, 1 & 1/2 pills.

2-3 hour onset, then....

*gone*

I mean.... absolutely GONE. To the level of a 3rd/4th plateau DXM trip.
Rolling. Balls.
Swimming in a linoleum floor.
Bouncing off the walls. (literally)
Dancing like a lunatic whose sole purpose on this earth was to make himself as much a part of the music as he could through his movements.
For at least 6 hours.

Then I was just mildly rolling balls for another 4 hours.

Then I felt like I was just a little tired, mentally. But still overwhelmed with what I had just experienced. No sleep. No hangover. Just elation.

Now, 4 years later... things have changed.

^ lol thats not what you said at all..

why not just roll everyday then? see how that works out for you lol 8)

people have opinions, and to me, comedowns are not bad, different people react differently to it, whether it be mental, or however. and im not stupid, i have done the research on mdma and use it wisely. roll your eyes all you want, you apparently have nothing better to do than sit here and pick apart everything someone says like its cool or something.

lol 8)8)8)8)

im not picking apart everything youre saying.. you totally contradicted yourself, of course someones going to point that out lol.

AND its totally bizarre to claim that coming down from a chemically induced high is a purely mental reaction. its not a matter of opinion at all, its a matter of chemistry.. you know.. science? the basis of all modern knowledge?

im not even trying to be a dick but youre just coming off like a retard now.. lol.

i'm not saying there isnt a comedown, im just saying some people feel it differently, some are in a bad mood, some physically feel like shit, some dont have noticeable enough effects to even talk about. all i was sayin man. and i wonder why i never post here much. e users are right about everything. can't tell em anything.

I was seriously surprised that after my 1st real roll (and every subsequent roll afterwards) was practically crash free. I mean, if you count the "Oh that was nice...too bad it's over :(" as a crash then, yeah I guess it does that. But as far as physical effects go, yeah I usually feel pretty damned fantastic for a week or so after a good roll.

Perhaps I've desensitized myself from come-downs from my year to two doing cocaine. Hmm....Never thought of that.Glad I'm passed that phase though :p

There is no way of ingesting real MDMA without feeling some sort of lack of serotonin. At least, isn't that what it does? Release serotonin?
Btw, those are not serious questions lol, I'm aware of the action of MDMA.
