oh-k so a few questions, is dxm HBr in cough suppressents the same as dxm that you take to trip, i mean i know is sorta the same. So say i get a good cough suppressent that only has the DXM HBr 15mg and alcohol 1.4%...is that okay? and how much do i take? and other helpful stuff will be appriciated! :)
 
Again, like I replied to your other post, please get a feel for the boards before posting. You'll notice that each forum has a description of what should go there. This post belonged in Pyschedelic Drugs. Also you'll notice this board has a "search" function. You can search through the Psychedelic Drugs forum for the keyword DXM you will find lots of great posts. But in the intrest of saving them some work, I will give you a URL that has good information, so the mods can just go ahead and lock this and not transfer it.

but, yes; the dxm in cough syrup is definately the dxm you take to trip. alcohol is fine, but you want to make sure that there aren't any other funky ingredients in there like acetominophen (which will beat up your kidneys) or goofynesin (which will make you hork.) how much you take depends on how much of a trip you want. if you drink a 4oz bottle you will get "robobuzzed." drink an 8oz bottle and you will "robotrip." drink 2 8oz bottles and you're pretty much in a k-hole. definately start small for your first time. i say start off by taking down a 4oz bottle and see how you like it. you might wanna pre-load with some bennidryl just in case you are one of those people who would suffer the dreaded "robo itch." you can find more helpful info at www.third-plateau.org or at erowid in their dxm section. thank you drive thru. ;)

Same stuff, or at least the same chemical. Most advanced users of DXM prefer the pure powder, obtainable through a diligent online search or through extraction. But yes, the DXM in robo is the same as what ppl use recreationally. It just has assorted nasty nonactives that may make it unpleasant to drink, but won't really hurt you. Assuming you have max strenth robo with ONLY dxm in it and nothing else active.(no APAP, pseudoephedrine, etc). I'm afraid that I can't help with dose. You may want to check in psychedelic drugs for that. In fact, this thread will probably be moved there anyway.
 
please don't drink more than a 4oz of robo max your first time. in fact i wouldnt drink more than 2oz. for your first time. you could be deficient of the enzyme that breaks DXM down in your body, which would make for a long and heavy trip. other than that you shoul start off low to get a feel of what dxm is all about.
