Dxm While On Zoloft?

My good friend is on Zoloft, she wants to go to the 4th plateau with me in a few weeks but doesn't want to stop her medication she had previously been on risperdal and had taken a good 3rd plateau dose with no problems but she hasn't done anything recently.I've been to the 4th numerous times and am fairly experienced with it however friend has never been past the 3rd before before, my experience with anything over 800mg's is usually complete detachment from reality and has sometimes ended in me thinking I'm a blanket for 4 hours.. Would it be safe for her to go for the 4th or any plateau while on the Zoloft? I don't want to allow her to go through with it if it's going to give her serotonin syndrome.

I wouldn't recommend it, although i have combined the two, the DXM was at a lower dose. I look back and realize how shitty serotonin syndrome would have been. Especially for using a dirty drug like DXM (not hating on it, just not worth it on anti-depressants). Read up on serotonin syndrome and see if its worth possibly frying your brain.

I wouldn't do it. You're pushing it already and this is a harm reduction site so for us to tell you to do it would totally be against what we stand for. I did dxm numerous times on zoloft but never went above two bottles... Even then I felt like it wasn't a good idea. I also found myself to be more confused than anything. So did my friend (she was also on zoloft). When you're on zoloft you don't really get to feel dxm's true effects and taking more just seems to make you feel more gone but not in a good way.
