DXM to help Opiate Withdrawals/Tolerance?

I've seen several posts on here in which people have claimed that DXM helps to reduce withdrawals and tolerance to opiates. I just have a few questions about this.

- Does it lessen lessen withdrawals AND/OR reduce tolerance? I've heard both.

- What is a good dose to produce desired effects?

- Why does DXM help with these problems, if it does?

- Has anyone had experience with this? Share please.

The only thing I've heard is it reducing tolerance.
However, many people here have used it religiously hoping for the best, but reporting back that it didn't help at all.

Personally, I think it's a myth, or so small of a difference it's not worth your time.

I read a post earlier about end reducing tolerance to stims to I wonder why people are saying this I don't have any experience with end tolerance lowering
