First I want to say I have only done dxm 3 times. Each time was the 4 oz bottle with dxm as the only active ingredient so no worrys. Tonight I want to reach a higher level and take 2 4 oZ bottles which is around 700 mg of dxm. I have never done anything to reach levels like this so I will be in for something new tonight. My questions are should eat a few hours before or avoid completely? And will the total of 8 oz be safe for me to take alone in my room? The 4 oz bottles don't do it for me anymore the last time I had one would be 3 days ago but before that I haven't had any dxm for over a month.

Be cautious; 700 mg is a big step from what you've been taking! I would avoid food. Keep a puke bucket and water bottle handy, get a song playlist set up, promise yourself you won't give any other occupants of the household reason to panic. You should be fine, having already tested the waters. Tell us how it goes when it's over, alright?

Yeah, avoid food (or just have a light snack) and just drink fluids, 'cause if you have to throw up it's waaaaaaay more pleasant to expel pure liquid than a bunch of half-digested food.
Your room is the only place you should be taking such high doses, if you have to go to the bathroom be prepared for significant ataxia (motor coordination impairment), you will not be able to fake sobriety.
Other than that you just need a dark room and music. Maybe watch a movie during the comeup, I find syrup takes about 2-2.5 hours to peak. You might not be able to sleep at all that night, but the afterglow should leave you pleasantly numb the next day so you probably won't mind. I usually shut the music off and just lie in bed with my eyes closed when I start getting really tired, it's better than no rest (and you kinda have these dreams).

If it's not too late, I'd suggest taking a bottle and a half. I know we're in the digital age, but there's no reason you have to take an integer number of bottles. 700mg is not what I'd call dangerous, but the impression I'm getting is that you want something a bit stronger, not necessarily completely different. Have you read up on the different plateaus of effects?
Well I did it and I must say I was disappointed. I didn't experience anything that a third plateau should and had control over my motor skills and mind the whole time. I did feel like the world was spinning around me and got this burning itchy sensation. Then I went into a deep thought about my life I even forgot I existed at one point and was just living totally in the moment. It wasn't a bad experience it just wasn't what I was hoping for.
I did some more research and for a guy my size the minimum dosage for a third plateau trip would be 710 mg and recommend was 900 mg. I also ate 4 hours before which I will avoid next time. I'm going to take a break for awhile because I don't want to over do dxm but next time Ill try for pure dxm instead of the syrup with all the other stuff.

Sorry to hear about it, Darkswerk. Sounds like you're a DXM hardhead. Better safe than sorry, though!
