Hey guys, very new here. I love this forum!
Anywho, i've been studying the DXM Free Base extraction thread so I could try it myself. I've done DXM probably 15 times, 12 of which have been in this year using gel caps because I can't get more than two bottles of syrup down without puking it all up within an hour.
So I decided to try the free base extraction with Naphtha, Ammonia, and Tussin with DXM as the only ingredient.
I extracted the DXM from 4x4oz bottles for a possible combined dosage of 1200mg. I have no idea how much the extraction yielded, though I would assume around 800-900mg were ingested. My power is very white.
I just finished scraping the Pyrex dish that I had been using for evaporation, dumped it into a shot glass, and took it with Smirnoff Vodka and chased it with a few chugs of Limeade for more acidity.
Here's my report:
T: 00:00 - Feeling a tiny buzz from the vodka and decide to take a shower.
T: 00:25 - Just got out of the shower and sifting through my dryer for clothes, I feel my first DXM feeling. A little light-headed with the basic indescribable come-up feeling of DXM
T: 00:30 - Sitting at the PC typing this... Usually when I feel it coming up, I take a stroll outside for about 15 minutes in a loop around my neighborhood.
When I come back, I usually strip to my boxers, put on Pink Floyd, and lay on my couch and trip balls. I will update this when I feel like I want to type again... most likely when i'm coming down and able to focus my vision again.
T: 00:35 - It's really starting to come up now. This stuff took effect in 30 minutes. Usually when I take the gelcaps, it takes about an hour and a half. Gonna head out on my walk now.
T: 01:00 - Back from walk, feeling very DXM'y. On the walk, I had some stomach discomfort and the annoying itching at the tips of my fingers. Gonna lay down and enjoy the trip. See you all in space!!!!
T: 01:30 - Trip hasn't really gone anywhere. Usually on DXM, I would be still going upwards and tripping harder after taking 3 bottles of gelcaps.
I really hope it gets better. I dont mind layer here enjoying music, but i really like to trip balls when on DXM.. Like when you keep sliding in and out of reality with the music. I possbly could have only gotten a 60% yield on my first try. I feel as tho I have taken two bottles of Tussin.
T: 08:30 - (all events happened before 8:30, it's just when i typed it up)
That was a crazy ass trip!!! Right after I closed my eyes and put on Echoes by Pink Floyd, it looked as though I was in a glass capsule and Patrick Swayze tapped on the glass and that's when the trip started. This stuff was so strong and lasted forever... Even while i'm typing it's hard to focus on things.. I'm making so many typos haha. I
I'm still really fucked up on this shit but not to the point where I can really lay down and hallucinate. You guys know that part? When you're still walking like a robot and cant see straight and you want to just keep tripping balls but you are really energetic? When i'm coming down off this stuff i feel like the hulk and do some pushups and lift weights because it feels like I have super human strength.
It's 4pm and i have nothing to do... Maybe I'll try to play some ps2
This trip has not been as fun as tussin trips. Maybe because it's a different from downing gelcaps.
During this trip though, I felt a though I were a different person in a different body. It hit me really fast. I thought it was gonnna be weak but then it took control of my brain and from then on it felt like a dream. Most of the trip I could close my eyes and it looked like i was in a red square room and it felt like a playground, like if I thought of something, it would appear.. But it didnt, haha. The DXM didnt want to listen to me, rather just take me on its journey and make me experience the things it wants me to see. Typing this, my hands feel like they are 10 ft apart and it's making it really frustrating to type if i'm not looking at the keyboard.
At one point during the trip I felt as though I was punched and told to get back together with my ex. I then proceeded to have flashbacks of good times i had with her. Things like this commonly happen when I trip on DXM, which she didn't know anything about. At one point I had the urge to call my ex and ask her to take me back but now i'm realizing that that could have been a bad choice.
I seem to have an overwhelming emotional or nostalgic feeling when tripping on DXM. One time I had a huge urge to reactivate WoW and get back in touch with all of my old friends. When I had sobered up, the urge had left. DXM is a very powerful drug and can really bring back some very strong feelings.
Typing is so goddamn hard. It took me a half hour to type this edt, though time goes really slow in DXM so it could have been 5 minutes.
Still tripping but it's almost over.
I want to mention that the high was not so dreamy and colorful as when I take the gel caps. This high was much more clear and it was like being in a completely warped state of mind. I think I prefer the tussin high over free base as my trip is much more colorful and vibrant.
I have a slight headache which I do not get when taking the gel caps. I do have the same light, pleasant, euphoric feeling at the end of the trip that I can kind of feel in my stomach like usual; I will, like usual, probably have this feeling for the rest of the day.
Trip was a success and I will do it again when I have enough money to buy more gallon ziplock bags.
I kid, though one does waste a lot of gallon ziplock bags during the extraction process.
Hope anyone who read this found some sort of satisfaction in reading this, or at least didn't think that it was a waste of 5 minutes reading it.
