DXM causing ear pain?

My friend took 120mg of DXM (1st plateau) and got the usual effets (more sensitive touch, enhanced music and movies, etc) In the middle of his trip he said he got an unusual ear pain. He said he felt like his ear was being pulled from his head and it was painful.

Anyone care to tell me what the fuck happened.

Yeah... dxm can have negative physical effects on some people. Simple solution really, tell him he shouldn't use dxm anymore, problem fixed

Well I told him this and he feels it's worth it. My question was how do you think the DXM was causing this pain if it was the DXM at all.
