Dxm and cyclobenzaprine?

Hey fellas does anyone know if it is safe to take 10mg cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) with 354mg dxm? If so does it make a difference on the experience of the dxm alone? Good idea or not? Please and thanks for any info

Sounds like crap IMO.

Flexeril makes me feel dizzy and tired. I'd just take the DXM on it's own, or with some herb.
Not to mention Cyclobenzaprine will add to the CNS depression, which isn't a good thing.
Don't think it would be too dangerous though, but being enjoyable is another matter.

I would not combine these, flexeril is related to TCAs which are contraindicated with DXM.

The exact risk is not completely clear to me but I wouldn't take it anyway. A good indication to stay away from the combo until argued otherwise.

I don't see it being a very good interaction if any, but I don't like DXM and Flexeril isn't fun to me.

Cyclobenzaprine has major contraindications with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). At least one study also found increased risk of serotonin syndrome when cyclobenzaprine was taken with the serotonergic drugs duloxetine or phenelzine.

Sounds like an incredibly bad idea. Duloxetine is just a run-of-the-mill serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor; DXM too is an SNRI!

Thanks guys I didn't end up mixing them. Flexeril is shit anyways.

i've done this in similar dosages to what you list. health-wise i felt fine, but it was definitely a shittier experience than DXM on its own.
