DXM and antipsychotics??

I'm DMXing tonight. Would taking my antipsychotics with it (Seroquel and Chlorpromazine) ruin the psychedelic effects of the DXM? Or would it just increase sedation?
I just need to know whether I should skip them today.

That really depends on why you are prescribed antipsychotics in the first place. I know some doctors can be heavy handed dealing out certain antipsychotics, especially seroquel. But if you need the meds man, I wouldn't risk skipping them then taking a drug that is going to make you hallucinate.

If I had to guess I would assume the antipsychs would greatly diminish the effects of any "trippy" kind of drug. Seroquel will bring a hard acid trip to a standstill in my experience. You may still feel dissociated, but the good feelings may be missing.

Again if you need your meds just smoke some bud if you want to get high and that is all you are looking for.

I've taken 225mg of DXM and was fine. I'm on Aripiprazole and Lamotrigine for Bipolar Cyclothymia disorder. But, YMMV. Keep safe and be careful.
