DXM and alcohol?

I've read that DXM and alcohol aren't a good thing to be combined, I was hoping for experiences and insight upon this combination...DXM coming from over the counter cough syrup...thanks
 
I've never done it, and with good reason. It doesn't sound appealing whatsoever! Besides the fact that you would probaly be in a corner puking your guts out, its probaly not safe either.
 
I think this actually belongs in the Psycadelic forum but heres what i did anyways.
Okay well I don't really recommend this combination... once I took a rather small dose of extracted dxm I had made, and then I followed up with maybe 2 beers, 1mg xanax, and 2mg of ativan. As I recall, which isn't very much of course, I really just felt the benzos and alcohol.
I like my Dxm experiences to be on the strong side, and alcohol is not to be combined with large doses at all, as they are both depressants.
If you like Dxm, you'd be much better off just doing a 2nd-3rd plateau dose, and not drink!
