Hey all, long time reader, first time poster.
I'm not sure how to separate these issues... but you's all seem like a nice community so I'm just gonna spill.
Firstly... I was wondering what all yall's flow chart of introductions would be like? And which drugs you 'landed' on (i.e. drugs that, for you, were 'keepers').
Ok, now but it's all about me! :D
I remember one of my first highs - a sugar high, hard boiled lollies, a LOT of them. 2nd high - Red Eye on school camp, a few years later.
List Below!
(UPPERCASE items are keepers, *starred* are off limits for me now). [only count "sober enough to remember and differentiate" experiences]
Sugar, CAFFEINE, alcohol, *nicatine*, *thc* (CBD?), MDMA, street speed, nitrites, codeine, DXM, LSD, psybocilin, MESCALINE, N20, legal speed, *diphenhydramine*.
I'd love to be able to draw an XKCD style graph of influences over my life so far, and I wish there was something to do that for everyone, cos I'd love to see other people's experiences (on second thoughts, gapminder graphs?)
Anyway, back to the real question.
Clubbing has always seemed to go hand in hand with intoxicants. For me it was caffeine, then alcohol, then MDMA, then and now DXM; what I'm wanting to put out there is, where have people gone from here?
What gives the ego death, the energy, the weightlessness, the synesthesia, and the experiential depth of DXM, but preferably with the risks? (DXM is itself roughly as bad for you as alcohol mmmkay? although much more fun, IMHO)
Or even better, what's next? One thing I've found to be true of this culture, is that you'll never know if you never ask. Who's 'graduated' from DXM, and if so, where to?
What plateau's of experience exist outside of it? Regular clubbing on LSD? For those that have gone this path (I've only once, recently, and it was one of the best experiences in my life, which scares me!)
It just feels like this is a cycle, like leveling up in a game or something. And the old items just don't cut it anymore. Am I better off not playing the game?
Ok. Apologies to the community for the ever so slightly incoherent post, but thanks for reading :D
