(DXM/708mg) Semi experienced: My bad trip off DXM

It was a hot day and I was hella bored no weed left low on money and I wanted to get high. I remember bying robotussin and trying it a few times before and the high that I got before were slighly enjoyable so I decided that I was going to get fucked up that day off robotussin. I bought two bottles of robotussin maximum strength containing 354 mgs of DXM each bottle. Im exited and ready to trip I drink both the bottles right away. I thought to myself there is no going back now.

T 0:00 now Im playing black ops two

T 1:00 feeling no affect not unusual because the other times I dosed it took 2 hours for the affect to be noticed. Still playing COD and feeling slightly sick to the stomach

T 2:00 affect are obvious now my though pattern are so weird and I feel disconnected from my body a little. Euphoria 2/10 I am very exited to see what happens next.

T 2:30 same affects but stronger my jaw is clenched shut slightly annoying still very little to no euphoria Wtf! Im listening to some trippy music

T 3:00 the trip starts going bad real fast, I have no euphoria so I feel every other affect that the drug has such as pounding heart, robo-ich ( very annoying im itching the shit out of my head and neck I think im bleeding a bit). My whole body is also shaking and overheating yea not fun in the slighest.

T 3:30 my trip peaks same affects but stronger which means I feel even worse now I really just want to be sober. Im sweating like crazy now so I take off most my clothes and still no euphoria. I almost feel like im dying my temp feels way to high.

T 4:00 the effects are still very strong and this whole time I have been in a bad trip. FML haha

T 4:30 affects are diminishing slowly the bad trip is ending, I feel bit better but I have yet to trip very disapointed

T 5:00 I am counting down the minutes till this trip ends. I have made a pledge that I am never doing this drug again well see.....

T 6:00 the trip ends abruptly being replaced by a migraine FUCK

The migraine continues for an hour more.
 
DXM (in my opinion) is a real hit or miss. If your comfortable with vomiting that can lower the intensity of the trip, other then that all you can do is sit it out. Also just a warning, unless you are committed to your decision you most likely will come back to it just because of its easy availability (also in my opinion).
 
I have mixed feelings of DXM. The first time i did it i got an extremely bad itch, my skin was hot and red and sweaty and i felt like my face was turning into a monster. This doesn't sound like an ideal trip, but i'm pretty calm in my own head so while the outside i was saying crazy things about how i was feelings but on the inside i was enjoying this thoroughly because to me even a bad trip is a trip. luckily i've never had any stomach issues, but i think there's some stuff you could drink before hand to ensure a calm stomach (which i've yet to try, i think it's designed for drinking though), but most of the people i know only get stomach issues when accompanying with drinking. also, weed is really good for dxm, smoke while you're going into the trip and at least you'll get there safely, then keep some aloe lotion near by, it helps the itch just by the cool.
 
i dosed up on 900 mg of mucinex dm and it was my fourth time tripping in a row which i would never do a again . i ended up with a form of psycosis i litterally went effing crazzy. dxm has alot to offer and it has a crazy headspace i always have a good time and since is like everywhere i can see hpw its addicting but its just to hard on the body. im stupid i just dosed up on 360 mg of tripple cs and i regret it
 
I've found that delsym is the best way to go to ensure having a good trip. One of the main reasons why is because it tastes so good. It is unlike the dayquill and Robitussin nasty medicine taste. It also doesn't sit in your stomach and burn. another great thing about it is the time release, making your high time double.

At the expense of intensity. Yeah, it will have a longer, smoother come up and an extended duration, but if you're taking high doses (upper plateau levels) of DXM it isn't the best way to go.
