something i scrawled in my notebook this morning:

'dust to dust'

mis bosques verdes de madre
roles reversed and she swallows me whole
nuestro suicidio asistido de madre
faultlines collapse
and she swallows us whole

as we tumble to the mothers rock
-hewn catacombs,
these hands' manipulation forged from
the living stone

this gluttonous crescendo
only deepened the hole,
as though our sentience would starve
lest for the bread we stole

a choking carbon release
to feed our all-consuming devourer,
cremated deceased who shed
their blood upon the polymer altar.

mis cielos azules de madre
now she's pushed into obscurity
nuestro suicidio asistido de madre
her defiled throne
makes of us casualties

of her revolving evolving
coagulating tools,
a blip on this collective
sonar weeds out those fools

whose perversions depreciate this
earthen curiosity's obscene reprise,
shattered adorations mock visions
foreseen thus she flees the scenic comprimise

run and seek organic relief, cowardice of the retreat
inspiring self-immolation,
dust to dust the atmospheric deceit, self-sacrifice to
hasten the fall of her nations.

I like it...makes me feel a bit anxious, but then again, a good poem should do that, shouldn't it?:D

In retrospect, I'm not inclined to be diggin' dig this hmeahrh poem somuch- whether the half-sacked shit Spanish, or the fact that it makes me seem batshit twisted (a common and often unwanted result of my random post-stream of consciousness-revision writing), though it's the purest of abstract ideas in language as i coulda used to conveymy thoughts.....but a revision is in order! Ho-hum motherfucker, I'm drunk and unshatishfied with 'er!!!
