I was just trying to acquire a vial of K from my friend who is a vet tech. He didnt have any but said he had some Duralgesic patches?? What are these? He said I would love them, and they're just like dope that lasts like 2 days.....also he wants $30 each for ?100mg? patches, is this a fair price??

Those are 'Duragesic' brand, Fentanyl (72 hour transdermal patches). 100mg is wrong, you're probably refering to the 100ug(microgram) dose. This is an extremely potent and fun pain killer. Much better than H or so I hear. Basically, you put the patch on like a Nicotine one and every couple hours it releases 100ug of Fentanyl into your system. I'd GLADLY pay $30 for one of those babies. Consider yourself lucky. The only thing I'd watch out for is your tolerance. If it's too low, you run the risk of overdosing on this. 100ug is intended for opioid tolerant patients only. Otherwise, have fun!!

Duragesic - these are very good... it's fentanyl in a transdermal system - your friend probably means 100ug/hr (or 10mg) patches - thats 100 micrograms every hour to the user... the patches come in 25ug, 50ug, 75ug, and 100ug strengths and last 72 hours according to the package, or about 50 if you want my honest opinion (then again, after the first 20 hours the rest is a blur) ..
For best use, simply read the instructions that accompany the package - then do the oposite .. shave the area of your body where you're going to apply the patch - I recomend the upper-arm, over your heart, or upper back .. they will fall off, so it helps to cover your patch with a large band-aide.. rub it for a minute or so after putting it on, as this gets the drug flowing, but it can take several hours before the drug actually kicks in - the 50ug and 100ug patches ARE intense and will keep you busy for an entire weekend, they can also make driving a chore and even with something of a narcotic tollerance, a 100ug patch had me nodding rather hard .. a few passes with a hot blow-dryer also make a noticible improvement for short periods of time..
EDIT - as for the cost, they usually go for $10 a mg, so a 100ug/hr patch would sell for $100 ..
