duragesic patches

this is the duragesic patch that I get, it's not the same as what most use, just trying figure out if the oral bio-viability is high enough to be sucking on these or is it a total waste,

I been told you can freeze the patch remove small pieces of gel and iv.

You actually need to be concerned with the sublingual and buccal bioavailability if you're sucking on it and not the oral.
