But alas, I fear I will never experience it.....
I'm not asking for sources, just seeing if anyone has any stories on how said patches were acquired, apart from them being legally prescribed to them...

friends mom died of cancer, left a few laying around...

Where I live, there were two or three people in town getting these patches and selling them for a while. They were going for anywhere from $25-$40 for a 50mcg/hour patch. The thing was, those of us that were scoring them had to make sure that we took the patch back, so that they could be returned to the doctor(?). Don't ask me why. So when extracting the gel, you had to be careful to not just rip open the package, but to put a small pin hole in it and slowly squeeze the gel out.
 
My drug dealer sells them, along with damn near everything else on this goddamn earth. God Bless drug dealers.
 
It's like any other pharmacutical, you just gotta find someone thats prescribed them but values the money more then the drugs.. the guy I get mine from has a bunch of blown discs in his back and has already had several failed surgeries, he sells the patches (100ug/hr for between $30 and $50 each) as he is a crackhead, he enjoys the crack more then the narcotics ..
While the high dose patches are certinly as common as other pain killers, there are people prescribed them so you just have to look..
As for cutting them open - I swear, I have played with these things just about every possible way, from smoking to injecting, I still find the best way to get yer monies worth is to wear the patch for about 40 hours, then eat the remaining gel...
