Hey there - I'm not a frequent marijuana smoker and don't usually post here, mostly on otherdrugs and the dark side - anyways this morning somebody gave me this huge bud in exchange for a bus ticket. The thing is, it looks like it was recently plucked straight off the plant, because its still wet ; how should i dry or cure it? Just let it sit for a few days in a jar?
 
no no no, if you leave it in a jar it will sweat in its own moisture n get mouldy.

sounds like a fuckin sweet-ass deal though - huge bud for a bus ticket!

best bet is get a sheet of newspaper or a brown paper bag and wrap it/store it in that for a day-ish (or 2 depending on the freshness)

after its pretty much dried properly, you can cure it in a jar, but make sure that each day you cure it it gets air for about 30 minutes twice a day.

i wouldnt cure for more than a week, but its up to you.

Probably not. But I've always wanted to have pot hanging from my ceiling. Maybe a weed mistle toe for the holidays?

yeah,...set it on a paper plate and lay a paper napkin over it and put it on top of your frig or somewhere out of the way.....you don't want it to dry too fast because it will smoke harsh..
 
Well i left it in this box I have over night...since its the only weed i currently have, i tried to smoke some this morning and its not all the way dry but it worked somewhat well. im definitely stoned but i hardly ever smoke the herb, so i have a low weed tolerance :) :) :)
